The experiences that shape Circle

Movement and Baby & Me experiences are guided through a small collection of thoughtful formats.

Each one holds a slightly different energy — grounding, strengthening, playful, or sensory — while remaining adaptable to the pace of parents and little ones.

Together, they create the shared language of Circle.

Movement Rituals

Movement at Circle supports parents through different seasons.

Sessions are adaptable and low impact. They are guided with options rather than pressure.

Yoga & Tea

A grounding, breath led yoga practice focused on mobility, ease, and presence. Slow, intentional movement creates space to reconnect with the body.

Pilates & Lattes

A supportive mat Pilates session focused on alignment, core strength, and functional movement. Controlled, steady sequences build strength while maintaining ease.

Sweat & Sip

A low impact strength and mobility session using controlled movements and optional light equipment. Dynamic enough to energise the body while remaining sustainable and accessible.

Barre & Bubbles

A floor based barre practice inspired by ballet and Pilates. Focused on posture, control, and deep muscular engagement through small, precise movements.

Baby & Me Rituals

Baby & Me sessions are at the heart of Circle.

They are child-centred and guided with care. Parents accompany and support while children lead the rhythm.

Baby Yoga

Gentle floor-based movement and connection. Touch, rhythm, and presence that meet each child where they are.

Little Rhythms

Soft musical exploration through simple songs and instruments. Listening, repetition, and shared attention.

Tiny Dancers

Playful movement through music. An invitation for babies and toddlers to explore space, rhythm, and expression in a contained environment.

Sensory Stories

Story-led exploration through sound, movement, and simple props. Calm, imaginative, and thoughtfully held.

Got questions?

Find answers to the most common questions about Circle Saturdays.

Who are Circle Saturdays for?

Parents and caregivers with babies or young children (0–3 years) who value calm spaces, shared experiences, and connection with others in the same life stage.

Can both parents or caregivers attend?

Absolutely.

Families are welcome to decide what works best for them. You may attend with another parent, a family member, or a caregiver.

During the movement session, one adult may choose to join the class while the other stays at the café with the baby or child. The café has windows overlooking the studio, so it’s possible to watch the session while remaining with your little one.

You’re also free to swap roles between sessions or simply choose what feels most comfortable on the day.

Do I need prior experience to attend?

No. All classes are designed to welcome beginners as well as more experienced participants. Movement is guided with options and adaptations, and Baby & Me sessions meet children where they are.

Is Circle suitable during pregnancy or postpartum?

Yes. Movement classes are adaptable for pregnancy and postpartum, and facilitators offer variations and pauses as needed. You’re always encouraged to move at your own pace.

Are babies and children really welcome?

Yes. Babies and young children are an integral part of Circle, not an afterthought.

• Baby & Me sessions are designed for 0–3 years, with parents present and engaged throughout.

• Babies are welcome in movement classes when they are not yet crawling, so the shared space remains comfortable and safe.

What language are sessions held in?

Circle reflects the rhythm of Lisbon.

Movement is guided in English. Baby & Me sessions are primarily in Portuguese, with space for bilingual flow when needed.

Both local and international families are warmly welcomed.

Can I attend only one class instead of the full event?

At this stage, Circle Saturdays are offered as a full experience. Each ticket includes both the movement class and the Baby & Me session, plus time to stay afterwards.

This helps preserve the rhythm and intimacy of Circle.

How long is a Circle Saturday?

Each Circle Saturday lasts around two hours.

The experience includes a movement session for parents, a short transition moment, and a Baby & Me session for little ones aged 0–3.

Exact timing can vary slightly depending on the format and the natural rhythm of the group.

Afterwards, you’re welcome to stay, have a drink, and connect with other parents for as long as you wish.

You are also free to leave earlier if needed, there is no pressure to stay.

What should I bring?

Wear comfortable clothes you can move in, and bring whatever your baby or child usually needs during the morning, snacks, nappies, or a small bag with essentials.

Mats and basic equipment are provided.

The space also includes a cozy open changing area with lockers, where you can store your belongings and comfortably freshen up or swap layers before or after the sessions. As it is an open space, it is best to arrive already dressed for movement.

Is the café included in the ticket price?

Food and drinks are purchased directly from Soma’s café and are not included in the ticket.

Throughout the morning, you’re welcome to order from the café menu — whether you’re relaxing there with your baby, watching the session from the window, or staying afterwards to connect with other parents.

You’ll find a thoughtful menu of specialty coffee, teas, and wholesome food prepared by Soma’s café.

How many people attend each Circle Saturday?

Circle gatherings are intentionally small so the space can remain calm, comfortable, and attentive to everyone present.

Each event is limited to 8 families, allowing the experience to stay intimate, safe, and gently paced for both parents and little ones.

Is this a recurring programme?

Circle Saturdays are the first step in bringing Circle to life. A series of curated gatherings designed to experience the concept together.

Insights and feedback from these events will help shape what comes next.

What if my baby cries, moves, or needs attention?

That’s completely okay. Circle is designed with real life in mind. Parents remain present and responsive, and facilitators guide sessions with flexibility and care.

How do I book?

Tickets are booked online in advance. Because groups are small, we recommend booking early.
